Key Codes in the Demo Data

The demo runs two projects for one operator — Meridian Exploration Ltd — so the contrast between a live, funded execution and a parked opportunity is visible at once. Almost every populated row belongs to PRJ-CF Copperfield; PRJ-KN exists to show the on-hold case.

Code What it is
PRJ-CF Copperfield — Copper-Gold IOCG, AU-WA, InitialDrilling, Active. The whole worked chain. $1.85M approved / $0.54M spent / 9-month runway
PRJ-KN Kalahari Nickel — Nickel, Botswana, TargetValidation, OnHold pending modern EM. The parked case; overall risk High
E29/1234 Copperfield East tenement — Granted, OnTrack (compliance surfaced here, governed in the licence app)
PL-201/2025 Kalahari Nickel PL — Application, AtRisk
FAC-CF-EQ Copperfield Placement 2026 — the equity facility. $2.0M approved / $1.2M drawn / $0.8M remaining, Available

The Copperfield Story, Step by Step

  1. Hand-off from eis. The magnetic-high anomaly arrives as EV-CF-10 (ScreeningTransferred) and DEC-CF-01 funds the RC campaign — $900k off FAC-CF-EQ via capital call CC-CF-01.
  2. Mobilise. CMP-CF-RC1 spuds on schedule (25 Jul 2026); the first CampaignProgress report shows 490 m, no issues.
  3. Early encouragement. Hole CF-RC-006 logs 24 m of magnetite-chlorite alteration — evidence EV-CF-11, which lifts HYP-CF-01 from 0.55 to 0.62.
  4. Learning per dollar. The cover-thickness uncertainty UNC-CF-COVER is re-scored 8.0 → 6.0 on the early holes — 2.0 points for $420k, 4.76/$M. Grade UNC-CF-GRADE barely moves: the assays are not back.
  5. The bottleneck. Assay batch BATCH-CF-01 (240 samples) is Pending and 4 days overdue; milestone MS-CF-01 "first assays returned" goes AtRisk; risk RSK-CF-01 (turnaround delay) is being monitored.
  6. The gate waits. DG-CF-1 is Preparing. Funding runway (GC-CF-02) is a Pass, but confirmed grade (GC-CF-01) is NotAssessed — so no Stage 1 call can be made until BATCH-CF-01 returns.
  7. Report outward. IU-CF-Q1 tells investors the programme is on track (32%), marginally under budget (-1.6%), with grade unconfirmed and $400k (CC-CF-02) the next ask. The KpiSnapshot carries the same reality as numbers.

Rules of Thumb

  • Everything hangs off the project. ExplorationProject is the root of 24 of the 45 relationships; ExplorationTarget is the second hub (evidence, hypotheses, uncertainty and target decisions). Start any trace at one of the two.
  • Source of money ≠ purpose of money. FundingFacility/CapitalCall track liquidity; BudgetPeriod/BudgetLine/Expenditure track burn. Reconcile them through capital calls — do not read either axis as the whole picture.
  • Confidence only moves through a link. A hypothesis's current_confidence should always be reconstructable from its HypothesisEvidence rows' confidence_before → confidence_after steps. A jump with no link behind it is a data error.
  • Capital efficiency is a stored number. UncertaintyAssessment.reduction_per_million is the app's headline metric — points of doubt removed per $M. Grade cannot move until assays return; that is why UNC-CF-GRADE reads 0.5 and UNC-CF-COVER reads 2.0.
  • A gate is blocked by its mandatory criteria. DG-CF-1 cannot proceed while GC-CF-01 (confirmed grade) is NotAssessed, no matter that GC-CF-02 (runway) passes. The mandatory flag is load-bearing.
  • Risk is forward, issue is live. A ProjectRisk might happen and is scored likelihood × consequence; a ProjectIssue already happened and is raised against a campaign. Both carry investor_material.
  • The roll-ups are seeded, not computed. Project totals, budget variances, programme progress and every KpiSnapshot field are stored values consistent with the rows beneath them — nothing recalculates them live (Phase 2).
